I get on to my computer today and it seems like everyone I follow is doing this... So obviously, I'm going to hop on the bandwagon!

I joined Deviantart on December 30th, 2008. I might as well say I joined in 2009, though. At the time, I was over on the Serebii forums, writing a PMD themed fanfic. I joined dA because a couple of my friends on Serebii were on dA, too. They would be JukainOfTheNorth and Uruboros.

At the time, however, none of use were really using dA that much as far as I know. So I spent roughly my first year on dA completely inactive, and I remained on Serebii working on my fanfic. Why did I end up coming over to dA, then, after neglecting it for this long? Well things were starting to slow down Serebii for me, with my fanfic. I think what I really wanted was a change in scenery as well as get more practice in on my art. I'm pretty sure I switched to dA on a whim.

I posted my first picture in September of 2009

The picture was 2 years old when I posted it, though. I actually made it back in 2007 for this mini art contest on the PMD forums of the Nsider forums when it was still open.

The pictures I posted after that had all been sketched for a while before I arrived on dA as well, but I coloured digitally after that. And for the following year I posted art at a pretty slow pace.

And by early 2011, I feel like I was getting pretty good a digital art (I still was super slow, though. And I couldn't draw completely digital. I first had to sketch on paper my ideas, scan it, then draw digitally over the sketches).

Then came April of 2011. The beginning of PMD. Whoo boy, did this ever change me in so many ways. I'm actually very serious when I say this, too. I have a total of 393 deviations in my gallery, and almost 250 of them are dedicated in some form to PMD-E. Before PMD-E, I had dreams of wanting to make webcomics. But it seemed like something that was always so far away, way out of my reach. With PMD-E, I saw my chance to try to close the gap, and work towards those stories and ideas I always wanted to tell. And thus, Team Trample was born, going on crazy adventures and occupying so much of my time for the next 2 and a half years.

As you can see, I have come a long way. I feel like I have learned so much thanks to my experiences in PMD-E. It allowed me to become a faster, more efficient artist, and better at panel play. That's not all I have to be grateful for, though. During my time on PMD-E I have had the opportunity to meet so many interesting people and make so many amazing friends. People such as Nobody, Nobody, Nobody, Nobody, Nobody, Nobody, Nobody, Nobody, Nobody and I know I am missing others too, sorry for not including you here, please pretend that I did!

Understandably, it came as a shock when PMD-E shut down. I was actually away on a school field trip when it happened. But it was such a bummer. I had big plans for team trample. But it all depended on PMD-E continuing. It was not something I could simply wrap up, either. There was so much more to be told. And thus, I let Team Trample go the same way that PMD-E went, and joined the new group people were migrating to, PMDU.

And my activity on PMDU has been going on ever since, with my new team, Team Mephitic Melody, which was actually meant to be my second PMD-E team I was going to introduce in the third story arc. Mephitic Melody was actually a team I had conceived back in mission 3 of PMD-E.

That's where I stand now.

As for the future? Well I feel like I am getting closer and closer to my goal of starting original work. I'm not sure how soon it will be, but it's coming! Eventually!
